Race dates set for 2022/23 NZ Darcy Price series

Dates have been set for the events in the 2022/23 Darcy Price NZ Ocean ski series, with an exciting new race down in Queenstown added to the calendar.

The Darcy Price series comprises of the premier surfski races around Aotearoa each summer and includes 8 events next season. A paddler’s best 4 races will count towards the series points. The male and female paddler with the most points at the end of the series will be the Darcy Price NZ Ocean Racing Series Champion for that season.

The James “Bhutty” Moore-morial race on 4th February 2023 will be the NZ Ocean Ski National Championships.

Queen and King of the Bay
Whakatu | Nelson – 28/29 January 2023

James Moore-morial “Bhutty Moore” Race*
Tauranga | Mt Maunganui – Saturday 4th February 2023
* doubles as the 2023 NZ Ocean Racing National Championships

Paddler Virtual Champs
Aotearoa | Virtual – 1st to 31st March 2023

Heads to Harbour
Whakatane – Saturday 11th March 2023

Auckland King & Queen of the Harbour
Tamaki Makaurau | Auckland -Saturday 6th May 2023
