Participation contracting role fulfilled

We are delighted that Danika Mowlem (see above) and Gavin Elmiger (see below) have agreed to work together to jointly take on the Participation contracting role in Auckland which we advertised last month.

Gavin is well known in our community as an accomplished coach, and for his enthusiasm for sharing his love of the sport with all paddlers.

Danika is a keen surfski paddler, member of our Distance Paddling Committee and Race Director of the King and Queen of the Harbour.

She has significant experience in sport development and has run successful participation initiatives at Yachting NZ.

We can’t wait for Dani and Gav to kick this project off in mid-November, and look forward to seeing groups of school kids on the water over summer, and lots of new paddling coaches delivering our Try, Learn, Explore programs.
