Expressions of interest- Coach roles available

With the recent movement in coaching roles, Canoe Racing New Zealand are once again seeking expressions of interest for any individuals who are available to be involved in the 2023 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships Campaign as a coach.

The purpose of the coaches role is to help prepare and support athletes to achieve their aspirations and goals within the respective program/teams.

In this role, you would be leading and supporting athletes in their physical, mental and social growth in relation to their on water performance. This role would require attendance at two pre-international tour camps and availability to travel internationally for a tour of approximately 15-20 days.

The 2023 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships will be held in Auronzo, Italy on 6-9 July.

These are voluntary positions. However, we are committed to exploring funding options to assist the successful coaches.

Successful candidates will be subject to NZ Police Vetting for child protection and CRNZ policies and procedures.

Please express your interest and what you would bring to the role by emailing Emily Willock, CRNZ National Development Coach Emily.willock@canoeracing.org.nz
