This is an independently organised Event run by Welly Paddlers with a start / finish at Honiana Te Puni Reserve, Petone.
Distances : 12 km, 6km and 3 km along the Motorway’s sheltered hillside of Wellington Harbour (Petone to the Interislander reclamation and back)
The Event is open to a range of multisport and adventure racing kayaks, V1, W1, W2, W3, W6 & W12 waka ama, surf skis, surf canoes and stand up and prone paddle boards.
8.30 am registration opens
9.40 am registration closes
9.45 am Event briefing
10.00 am Start times as follows :
10.00 am 12 km all recreational start
10.10 am 12 km W6 and W12 start
10.12 am 12 km W1 and W2 start
10.14 am 12 km single and double kayaks / surf skis start
10.16 am 3 km and 6 km (all craft start together)
Event spot prize giving – 12.15 pm – 12.45 pm
