The South Island’s longest running surfski race.
This event weekend in the beautiful Tasman region of the upper South Island includes 2 races to make for an awesome weekend of paddling.
Saturday 28th January- Queen and King of the Bay
Kaiteriteri Beach to Port Māpua – 26km
A superb 26km paddle along the coastline in Tasman Bay, past Motueka, Kina and Ruby Bay.
Sunday 29th January- Abel Tasman Islands
Kaiteriteri Beach – Split Apple Rock – Adele Island – Kaiteriteri Beach – 18km
Starting and finishing at Kaiteriteri beach, this loop course takes paddlers into the spectacular Abel Tasman National Park.
NB: Race organisers may switch race days if the weather demands it.
