The Heads to Harbour Waka and Surf Ski Race is back this year on a new (rescheduled) date of Saturday 30th April 2022, at its new home of the Tarawera Outrigger Canoe Club.
This event is for single or double waka and ocean ski paddlers
who are keen for the challenge to race 21km on the ocean
along the coast of Ohope and Whakatane.
We can’t predict the weather but we can predict a great day of paddling along
side great friends. We hope the weather gods will put on the goods to make
the day more enjoyable and the ride out on the ocean worthy of one to
remember. This event is in its 2nd year and we hope to see it grow and
develop to be an event everyone looks forward to.
