The Dunedin Winter Paddle Series incorporates 5 races and this is the final race. This race can also count towards the Kayak Krazy 10km Series. It is recreational 4/8km and all paddlers are welcome – SUP, multisport, ski, K1, waka ama and sea kayak.
Entry is $5 per person.
The wearing of a personal floatation devise (PFD) or leash for SUPs is compulsory. Rescue boats are not in attendance and participants enter at their own risk. Paddlers much stop and assist anyone in need. courses will be in sheltered water and postponed if there are white caps. Results and announcements will be posted on the OUSA KRC and Watercooled Sports Facebook pages. If the weather is doubtful contact the race organisers.
