Just to confirm that the 2020 NZ 10km Championships and final round of the Kayak Krazy Series will take place as planned at Lake Okareka, Rotorua on Saturday (August 29).
Following the government decision that New Zealand will remain at his current alert levels until Monday August 31 the event will be restricted to 100 participants.
Note, that because we are at an alert level 2 to sensibly manage numbers can everyone pre-register including spectators. We will be accepting NO on the day entries. The entry deadline is midnight on Thursday.
Please note that on the day registration takes place between 10-10.30am, briefing at 10.45am and racing starts at 11.00am.
We ask of everyone to download the Covid Tracer App and encourage everyone to use it as well as sign in manually.
Remember to follow all the guidelines on good hygiene and physical distancing and please stay at home if you are sick.
Entries can be made online by clubs or via the entry form for non-club members, and will be accepted until midnight on Thursday.
