The team are departing for Europe this week for a training camp before two consecutive weekends of ICF World Cup events – the Szeged Canoe Sprint World Cup on 16-18 May 2025 followed by the Poznan Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Cup on 22-25 May.

This will be the New Zealand kayak sprint team’s first international outing since the historic Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which saw our kiwi paddlers bring home three Olympic Gold medals and topped the Canoe Sprint Nations Medal table. This world cup team features many of those Olympians as well as some new names representing Aotearoa in the open age group for the first time.

Stay tuned as we follow and support our team at their first international events of the LA Olympic Cycle.
