Located on the shore of beautiful Lake Pupuke in Takapuna on Auckland’s North Shore, the North Shore Canoe Club is a friendly, welcoming environment with a great facility in a tranquil spot in the middle of New Zealand’s biggest city.

We welcome all levels of abilities from complete novice to elite. Whether you are after social to competitive, there is something for everyone.

The North Shore Canoe Club offers access to a premier training and recreational paddling waterway. We have a long history of being home to some of New Zealand’s greatest paddlers across the sprint, marathon and multisport disciplines, and is proud of its reputation as both a high performance centre as well as an ideal base for those that just love to paddle at whatever level.

North Shore Canoe Club offers Learn to Paddle courses  for both juniors and adults, delivering Canoe Racing New Zealand’s accredited “Try Learn Explore” Paddling Programme, so if you are keen to give kayaking a go in a safe, fun environment, we would love to hear from you.
