The pinnacle of the canoe sprint domestic season, the NZCT New Zealand Canoe Sprint Championships will this year also include the Oceania Championships and will be held at Lake Karapiro.

Proudly supported by NZ Community Trust and the Waipa District Council, the Championships will be held over three days of racing at Lake Karapiro.  Distances will include 200m, 500m, 1000m (depending on age group) and 5km (5km cancelled this year due to lake restrictions).   Age groups from Tyros (U12) right through to Masters.

The new programme has been limited due to activity on the lake.  We will be starting racing on Friday and Saturday at 11.00am.  1000m and 500m will be raced on Friday and Saturday (no held starts) and 200m on Saturday afternoon and all Sunday with held starts.

The full programme will be published once entries close, but please allow for a full day of racing on Sunday.
