The 29th Annual Foxton Loop Race
Distances : 12 km, 6km and 3 km on the tidal flatwater
This is an independently organised Event run by Welly Paddlers with a start / finish at the Te Awahou Riverside reserve on Harbour Street, which is directly behind the Main Street of the Foxton Township.
The Event is open to K1’s & K2’s, multisport and adventure racing kayaks, V1, W1, W2 and W6 waka ama, surf skis, surf canoes and stand up and prone paddle boards.
The event is only open to paddle craft (no rowing craft sorry)
10.45 am registration opens
11.45 am registration closes

12.00 pm Start
12.00 pm 12 km all recreational start
12.10 pm 12 km W6 and W12 start
12.12 pm 12 km W1 and W2 start
12.15 pm 12 km single and double kayaks / surf skis start
12.18 pm 3 km and 6 km (all craft start together)
Event spot prize giving – 1.45 pm – 2 pm
