A massive congratulations to Lisa Carrington and Coach Gordon Walker who took out the top honours at the 54th Halberg Awards held in Auckland tonight.    Lisa, who won gold in the K1 200m and bronze in the K1 500m at the Rio Olympics in 2016, was the first New Zealand woman to win two medals in a single Olympic games.  It was great to see her efforts, and those of Gordon, recognised by the Halberg Awards.
