2012 Olympic Squad Named

The selections for the 2012 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cups 1 & 2 have been determined by the Selection Panel in accordance with the Selection Panel Terms of Reference and the Canoe Sprint – Kayak Selection Regulation for the National Squad & Teams (Open) (2012 Season). Both of these documents are available through the website.

The athletes selected to attend the 2012 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup 1 and compete in the events shown are as follows:

The same athletes are selected to compete at the 2012 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup 2 however the events athletes will compete in will be finalised by the Selection Panel once World Cup 1 results are known.

2012 Olympic Squad Named

The Selection Panel has also named the athletes for the 2012 Olympic Squad.

Once World Cups results are known formal nomination of athletes and events will be made to the NZOC in accordance with the Nomination Criteria for Canoe Racing for the 2012 Olympic Games.
