The Australian Youth Olympic Festival 2013 is an elite event for young high performance athletes. The event will showcase 24 nations competing across 17 sports and will be held in Sydney Australia.

Canoe Racing NZ is the national sports organisation responsible for canoe sprint racing in New Zealand. Canoe Racing NZ’s high performance goal is more athlete’s winning more medals at the Olympics and other international events. Delivery of this goal is through a world-class high performance programme that is performance driven, athlete focussed, coach led with best practice integrated support services.

Canoe Racing NZ has values of Respect, Professionalism, Commitment to Success, Honesty, Openess, Integrity and Forward Looking.

We are looking for Team Manager who shares these values to organise and lead the kayak team to attend the Australian Youth Olympic Festival 2013. A full role description is attached.

The Australian Youth Olympic Festival 2013 is a self-funded campaign ie funding has to be obtained or athletes must self-fund. Therefore this position is voluntary however costs of the campaign will be covered.
