K1 Open & U23 Announcement

We would like to congratulate the following K1 athletes who have been selected to represent New Zealand in K1 at the following international regattas:

2018 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships – August

Lisa Carrington – WK1 200

2018 ICF Para Canoe Sprint World Cups - May

Scott Martlew – KL3 200m

Selection of the WK1 500m will be confirmed following a trial process in May. Athletes included are Lisa Carrington, Caitlin Ryan, and Aimee Fisher.

After full consideration of the men’s performances the selectors concluded that no K1 male athletes currently meet the performance criteria for the 2018 World Cups.
