HP Athlete Development Manager

It is with great pleasure we can now announce that Hamish Barton has been appointed to the newly created High Performance Athlete Development (HPAD) Manager role. It is with great pleasure we can now announce that Hamish Barton has been appointed to the newly created High Performance Athlete Development (HPAD) Manager role here at CRNZ.

Hamish comes to us after years of experience working across multiple sporting codes and sports organisations, including Sport Auckland, Argentine Cricket Association, New Zealand Cricket and most recently Netball Northern Zone/Northern Mystics where he has been the High Performance Manager for the last 4 years. Hamish lives in Auckland and is married with two boys.

The newly created role of HPAD Manager will see Hamish lead our Foundation, Paddle ID and Paddle to Podium pathway squads in doing so working closely with our pathway coaches, athletes and Junior/U23 World Champs Coach/Management team.

Please join with me in welcoming Hamish to the CRNZ team and wider community. Hamish’s first day with CRNZ will be Monday 3rd April 2017.

For further information please contact CEO Mark Weatherall mark.weatherall@canoeracing.org.nz or on (021) 132 4519.
