Expressions of Interest Open for Junior Coaching and Management Positions

We are seeking expressions of interest for the following roles:
•ICF Junior Worlds and Asia Pacific Sprint Cup Coaches;
• ICF Junior Worlds and Asia Pacific Sprint Cup Team Manager.

Please see the position descriptions for these roles:

2019 Asia Pacific and Junior Worlds Coach Position Description

2019 Asia Pacific and Junior Worlds Manager Position Description

Note that these are voluntary positions. However, we are committed to exploring funding options to assist the successful coaches and manager by offering some form of remuneration/stipend. Applications close on 18 February 2019 (the Monday after Nationals).

Junior Selection – Head Coaches Confirmed

We confirm that, for the purposes of the Junior Worlds and Asia Pacific Sprint Regatta Selection Policies, the CRNZ Head Coaches will be:
• Men: Fred Loyer; and
• Women: Jasper Bats

Please note that this announcement only affects the selection process for these Events. This does not mean that Fred and Jasper will necessarily be leading CRNZ’s Junior teams. We also anticipate that the successful candidates for the Junior Worlds coaching positions will be very involved in the seat trial process alongside the CRNZ coaches.

Junior Seat Trial Camp

We confirm that the Junior Seat Trial Camp will be held on 15-17 March 2019. The camp is most likely to be held in Karapiro, however this will be confirmed soon– Auckland may be more practical depending on travel arrangements and availability of HPSNZ staff.
