Thirteen kiwis took part in the ICF Ocean Racing World Champs in Tahiti with New Zealand's own Teneale Hatton taking top honour in the womens race.

A great day for Teneale Hatton at the ICF Ocean Racing World Champs in Tahiti where she claimed the title after battling USA's Michelle Eray all the way and beating her by just 30.96 seconds.   Fellow Kiwi Rachel Clarke followed six minutes behind for third place.
