Bay of Plenty Canoe Club
The Bay of Plenty Canoe Club does all its paddling on the Wairoa River and at half to full tide can paddle over to Mount Maunganui and Matakana Island and go upstream 11km to the Ruahihi Power Station. This a flat, gentle flowing river ideal for any type of paddle craft.
The club sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.00am and
4.00pm and Sundays at 9.00am for our 9km club time trial.

Karapiro Kayak Racing Club
Karapiro Kayak Racing Club was established in May 2006 and is based at the Karapiro Domain, Lake Karapiro. The clubs goal is to promote participation in the sport of kayaking, by providing club boats and equipment, friendly advice and coaching.
New members are always welcome, regardless of experience or ability.
